Currently we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Parts & Pricing Manager based in Genk (Belgium).

Summary

The ultimate responsibility of the Senior Parts & Pricing manager is to ensure, the Right parts, the Right quality, the Right quantity, the Right place and the Right price. The Senior Parts & Pricing Manager will implement the strategic decisions related to systems and processes to increase the parts business. This role has responsibility over parts pricing, parts engineering, reporting and analysis, operations and coordination for CAT, the Benelux, Poland and emerging markets.
The role will coordinate Parts Planning & Forecasting, inventory level management and optimization, E&O management, Parts Availability and Turns management, Inventory software Systems optimization, Warehouse management, Logistics optimization, Pricing and discount management, Service BOM development and management, etc.
 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
  • Lead within the regional management team the development, implementation and improvements of the Aftermarket Parts strategy and JLG's objectives including costs and customer experience.
  • Ensure that customers receive positive and professional support when ordering service and parts by providing timely and accurate information about pricing, availability, lead times, invoices, shipments and technical issues.
  • Manages first line supervisors that are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a team of representative that respond to inquiries of a technical or complex nature.
  • May develop business plan for team/group operations including budget development. Approves personal activities concerning hiring, training/development, and evaluation of start performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies guaranteeing efficient and professional technical support in relation to Aftermarket parts; maintain parts through the life cycle of the JLG products.
  • Manages existing parts categories within value chain, all with the aim of improving parts/units in operation and contribute to a sustainable growth of the value chain business.
  • Service Parts Range: support markets with local projects to drive part sales (identify markets, engage with the local team, and define actions and do the follow up. Overall Project Management).
  • Responsible for the publication, update and strategic implementation of the Parts Price Books for the EMEA region in multiple currencies. Responsible for the parts discount structure and authorization level matrix implementation of price changes for the region.
  • Works closely with different departments such as Operations, Business Intelligence, Marketing, Pricing, Planning, GPSC and Logistics to ensure sales success and probability of parts.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Marketing, and Operations to launch new products.
  • By adapting the global process to the local needs and bridging strategic planning activities between Sales, Marketing, and Operations, you will ensure the efficiency of the process.
  • Develops and monitors the application of operating systems including policies and procedures, operating structure, and information flow. Ensures the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards.
  • Develop and communicate reports to assist the Customer Care Group, the Customer Care Senior Management Team as well as various outside teams in their daily business and processes.
  • Responsible for implementation of the forecasting process.
  • Create the most accurate demand plan by coordinating the forecast from Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Set mid- and short- term priorities and present the strategy during monthly meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, logistics or any related field
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in parts, technical support, sales, or quality management.
  • Five (5) or more years of managerial experience in strategic parts and team management.
  • Fluent in English.  
  • Ability to speak Dutch, German & French is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Master’s degree. (Engineering / logistics / parts management)
