SUMMARY
This role will have as a primary scope to run and improve the demand forecasting process. This process is highly cross functional and at the heart of the business internal operation. The role will expand in time to additional process improvement projects and coaching opportunities.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is the point of liaison between sales, production planning, product delivery, finance and management. The role is primary responsible for submitting the sales demand forecast and optimize all processes leading to it.
  • Analyze bottoms up demand signals, market trends and risk profiles
  • Optimize finish goods inventories by managing the overview and steering sales focus.
  • Represent the voice of sales in production planning processes
  • Actively engage all stakeholders of the demand forecasting process and help them through change management process.
  • Become the go-to person for sales and inside sales to coordinate improvement efforts.
  • Promote and support an environment to share of best practices and the continuous improvement culture.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years of business/operations management and/or process improvement at a Black Belt level (Sigma Black Belt, Lean or Agile official certification is a nice to have, you do need to demonstrate experience on those methodologies)
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business or engineering related fields

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Results-oriented, strong analytical skills, and demonstrated process improvement success in cross functional teams or projects.
  • Proven change agent and ability to lead teams through: Making case for change; stakeholder management; change communications; removing barriers; setting milestones and acknowledging progress; and reinforcing change through organizational systems.
  • Willingness to work hands-on at all levels of the organization to lead by example
  • Ability to influence decision making with or without authority; facilitate groups with diverse perspectives; and bring teams to agreement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that build productive relationships and influences others, both within the business and across organizations.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the business (senior leaders to working teams); exceptionally good listening skills; able to present complex or new ideas with clarity and simplicity.
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills. Solid business acumen.
  • Experience in data analysis from multiple sources. Highly proficient with Excel formulas.
  • High ethical standards and the ability to set that tone for the entire organization
