Currently we are looking for an HR Generalist who can take this exciting role in supporting HR  in various EMEA entities. The HR Generalist is the spider in the web of our global company which needs a lot of liaising with our US counterparts on all kinds of subjects and who plays an important role in the JLG Employee experience.
The responsibilities extend to, managing benefits & entitlements, responsible for  the intern program, giving HRIS support, regional reporting, financial administration and payroll process of the HR department. As we are growing our business we are looking for a person who wants to grow in their role and where a next step as HR Manager in 3-4 years is their ambition.
 
The HR Generalist is part of the Human Resources EMEA team.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Fully responsible for the  HR cycle – creating employment contracts -on boarding- leaver admin-member benefits enrolments – e.g. pensions, insurances, fitness plan, company vehicles; answer employee questions on benefits, serve as liaison between team members, benefits consultants, and vendors; review and make recommendations and propose improvements
  • Managing the intern program
  • Collect and document monthly payroll mutations for several EMEA entities (Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands,  (India) and prepare data as input for the payroll
  • Liaise with HQ in the US regarding systems
  • Responsible for the Financial administration of the HR department; e.g. processing (benefit) invoices in a timely manner; coding, auditing and validating each invoice.
  • Serve as a technical consultant and trainer to HR partners in EMEA region on various HRIS.
  • Assist in the administration of the salary and performance appraisal programs and the bonus program
  • Support the approval process of headcount requisitions
  • Support and create periodic regional reports on e.g. headcounts, recruitment and trends
  • Administer the absences & illness for the Netherlands office
  • Assist with organizing Company training events.
  • Assist with other Human Resource department projects and assignments when assigned 


Requirements
  • At least 4 years of relevant HR experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Computer literate: experienced with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Fluency in English and Dutch another European language is an advantage
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors, WorkDay, CATSone, JD Edwards or other HRIS is advantageous
