The Used Equipment fleet manager EMEA is responsible for managing the full cycle of Used equipment (sourcing – valuation – procurement – refurbishment – logistics/management – resale) for JLG in EMEA. The Used Equipment fleet manager EMEA will serve as a primary interface between JLG Sales team and customers, identified 3rd party resale outlets and auction houses and with JLG Customer Care team for eventual service/refurbish requirements and the definition thereof. They are also responsible for development of annual sales goals for used equipment as well as launching and implementing activities and initiatives needed to deliver targeted results. 
  • Develop, implement, and manage new sourcing program for all Assets
  • Procure assets to be sold as used units
  • Manage trade in valuations, asset purchasing and processes
  • Manage transportation/logistics of trade in or acquired units
  • Develop sourcing plan for all product classes
  • Support the sales team in selling used units
  • Manage the unit pricing process to ensure maximum profit is generated whilst offering competitive market rates for trade in.
  • Work with management to develop a sourcing strategy that can be used across region
  • Establish regional plans for asset ‘refurbishment’ with regional Customer care leads
  • Maintain and develop relationships with sales team, customers and resellers
  • Develop relationships with key customers in support of long term trade package and/or acquisition opportunity
  • Work with suppliers on nontrade compliant units
  • Achieve financial targets in each market 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing or related field
  • 7 years Capital Equipment Experience preferably in Used equipment field
  • MBA or MS in Engineering, Business, or Finance
  • Program management experience
  • Global Procurement processes
  • Cost management / cost structures
  • Negotiate and manage all global supply base relationship requirements within your assigned commodities
  • Proven negotiation and analytical skills
  • PC skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent cross functional capabilities
  • leadership skills and the ability to influence/motivate others
  • Fluent English, preferably at least one other European Language (French/German/Spanish/Italian)
